Totalitarian

It should be, because not all totalitarian states are controlled by guns or war. No sir, upon close examination

you will find that a corporation is a Totalitarian state with its own thought police and corporate policy, minions armed with clipboards taking notes on deviant policy behavior lay in ambush waiting for misplaced words and anti corporate talk. According to the head minion, all the little minions who work for the corporation must obey the rules and edicts of the CEOs or face dismissal and financial ruin.

By definition: a Totalitarian state is a political system where the state recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible. Totalitarian regimes stay in political power through an all-encompassing propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that is often marked by personality cultism, control over the economy, regulation and restriction of speech, mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror.

We can rewrite this, replacing some of the words, as follows: a totalitarian state is a corporate system where the corporation recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of corporate life wherever feasible. Totalitarian corporations stay in control through an all-encompassing propaganda disseminated through the corporate controlled seminars and training sessions, a single corporate founder marked by personality, cultism, control over pay structures, rules, policy creation and restriction of speech and opinion, mass surveillance, and widespread use of being fired (terror).

It is in the best interests of a prospective politician to encourage totalitarian corporations if they want to garner enough money from them to win elections.

In the current Canadian and American political system the line between democracy and totalitarianism is really, really thin.

In Canada, the Prime Minister holds all the power of the State rendering the parliament useless and the elected officials on both sides of the house redundant. What the PM wants the PM gets.

In America, the President has the last word with his veto power.

In both cases, what the government wants the government gets. Despite the wishes of many taxes go up, taxes go down, the cost of living goes up but wages are cut in half. Complain and you end up in trouble, protest and you go to jail. You may be free to voice your opinion but you’re also free to be jailed. Not all opinions are tolerated by freedom loving citizens.

I don’t know about you but if I were 25 years old I would be up in arms because the Government’s decision to push up the retirement age for your generation would mean that you won’t receive the OAS benefits you are paying for now until you reach 70 or even older. Some programs should never be touched and OAS is one of them.

It’s alright for rich and semi rich people with good paying jobs to talk about pushing up the retirement age they already have the money they need to secure a comfortable retirement. News readers with opinions about how there are too few people to pay for the baby boom generation forget they are the children and grandchildren of that generation and are just too cheap to cover the cost. They don’t want to pay for their seniors or anyone else. News readers and political pundants who want change to the OAS are selfish self-centered greedy conscienceless idiots.

Tall, short, skinny, fat, black, white, pink, green, long haired, short haired, tattooed, redneck, terrorist, religious fanatic, average church goer, five times a day prayer, Sabbath worshipers, Mecca marchers, Arabs, Westerners, Europeans, Africans, people with accents, entertainers, and the average person, all have the same thing in common, they live in the land of the horse’s ass.

They espouse the virtues of high lifestyles while people starve, they promote the accumulation of wealth while people starve, they praise the greedy and the vicious, the immoral, the unethical, and the evil of others while people starve and live in misery in a world of plenty.

From the beginning in the land of the horse’s ass people have not changed. Occasionally someone takes his head out of his ass and sees the misery all around. Those people are rare. They don’t last long before they are killed or their head is involuntarily forced once again up their behind.

Most don’t mind because the smell of one’s own ass is comfortable. Unfortunately, for an elite few it is not enough, they want everyone else to enjoy the smell of their behind, because their odour is much better (even though it isn’t) and they can charge money for the privilege.

In the land of the horse’s ass, politics, economics, and religion are considered the same. But the religion is different. Religion wishes to tie the hands of their converts with dogma and superstition to prevent any attempt at removing ones head from ones ass. Of course, this suits the denizens of religiosity perfectly, once their head enters the channel of darkness and they feel secure they have no real reasons to pull it out. Complacency is home for them, thinking is out of the question, and faith in the decisions makers of the land is seldom questioned. They think others know better, convinced by the constant bombardment of TV news shows, product advertising, biased newspapers, and elites who tell the denizens what to think.

The ass of politics is not much different, by choice the willing stick their heads up their behinds for the charismatic liar, the false promiser, the one who swears they will fix the problems of world only to disappear after being elected. They had managed to coax the masses to retreat into the dark behind and that was their main goal.

The worst offender is the righteous rich who furnish the tools to help insert the head with ease. Greed is the vilest tool at their disposal.  Promises of living a better life, a secure life, a good life, are taken away at the earliest connivance while constantly bombarding them with the immoral message.  Redistributing the world’s wealth into the hands of a few and shoving the unruly heads of protestors up into the smelly channel are their goal.

To be obscenely rich is criminal, if for no other reason than their asses are not filled, their heads rise above the stink where they can see all that they control. They can see the world of man bent over with heads firmly planted in assess. They are in control and will be until the world takes its head out of its ass.

Now, what is making me a little pissed off is the Government making promises to cover the cost of natural disasters. Take for example the farmers and other people who live along flooding rivers, these rivers flood all the time, should the government pay for their stupidity for buying a house by a river that floods, shouldn’t they be told Buyer Beware and set adrift on their own to fix their houses.

My point is, if the government is going to deny compensation for the victims of man made disasters shouldn’t they deny compensation for natural disasters. It only seems fair. Don’t get me wrong I believe the government should pay but they should pay for both

    Tradition, consistency and innovation are not incompatible; the mind is flexible and quite capable of incorporating differences easily. At least it used to be, but intolerance and the driving desire to be right often narrows the mind. Adherence to singular policy narrows vision and excludes other possibilities. Closing a school with a long tradition and an educational consistency excludes future innovations and creativity.

    A school is much more than brick and concrete or desks and blackboards. It is a place where character is created, where social interaction is learned and where ethical and moral values are ingrained.

    The world can be too practical too concerned about saving money, too closed to recognize a deeper meaning to life. Living on too few foods starves not only the body, it starves the soul.

    Much the same as forcing everyone to be the same, to learn the same way, to learn in the same sterile politically correct environment destroys individuality and cripple the mind.

    Creating drones to obey social conventions may be good for bureaucrats but it is destructive for the human spirit.

Harper forgets that one of the first governments in parliament was a coalition under Sir John A Macdonald. It brought together different ideas, goals and policies that encompassed the majority of people living at that time. Since when did working together start being defined as “AS LONG AS YOU DO WHAT I TELL YOU WE CAN WORK TOGETHER”

You have to ask yourself why is it so important that the top one percent of the population become the only worthy members of Canadian society. When did we start catering to them as if they were the lord at whose feet we must prostrate ourselves? Whatever happened to the notion that all people deserve dignity or good health, or simple respect.

This election is proof that the insidious evil of some can rear its ugly head and condemn the less worthy in the eyes of their right wing Evangelicalism minority and show themselves as enemies of humanistic thought.

This election is not about the economy or health care, it is about a personal drive to gain control and wield power over the less fortunate, the indigenous, the elderly, the women, the poor, the sick, the middle class, the children, and the lower ninety-nine percent of the population. The man who wants to diminish the country and turn it into a pale image of America is Stephen Harper.

Vote for anyone but him if you want to live in a free country where leaders obey the rules of parliament, love the people of Canada instead of showing contempt for them. Vote for someone who respects the people enough to show up at all candidate meetings instead of hiding in a closet afraid to express an opinion because if Harper didn’t like it they were in trouble.

Send a message to Harper, that sticking to one message and supporting only the one percent of society, is not right and that you don’t agree with his arrogance and disrespect for the rest of us.

In a time of austerity, where governments and corporations advocate fiscal restraint at the expense of the middle class and the poor an ancient organization seeking justice for the down trodden begins to slit the throats of the disgustingly wealthy who are intent on squeezing the last drops of blood from their prey.

The Black Monks target and kill the wealthy, while government fails to control the avarice of a the few the Black Monks hold the rich accountable for their moral and ethical crimes against humanity.

They kill the sinners guilty of uncontrolled greed with the flash of a knife across the neck, bleeding the redemption they would never attain any other way.

Redemption, the watch word of the Monks, through the knife the rich will be redeemed in the eyes of the rest of the world
